3D-Sound setting question

Hello folks,

unfortunately I still don’t quite understand the topic with the settings for 3D sound (Dolby Atmos, Auro3D, DTS-X) on the AppleTV 4k.

In the ATV I activated Dolby Atmos as a sound option (immersive).

My source files (movies) have a TrueHD 7.1 Atmos track.

When I play these, my Denon X4700 AVR shows me PCM as usual. I can also see that the height channels are also being operated.

I can also turn on Auro3D.

Do I now have lossless 3D sound or do I have to change something?

I am using Infuse with Plex Media Server.

Apple TV 4K is programmatically deprived of the ability to transmit sound in the bitstream. Therefore, when listening to TrueHD+Atmos, infuse loses the upper channels. Officially, today there is Dolby Atmos support only in EAC3. Until apple adds bitstream support to tvOS, nothing can be done about it.
