2TB Limit?

Hi,

It says in the aTVFlash wiki that the maximum USB hard disk size is 2TB. I am wondering why this is? According to Apple “http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2422” the max volume size on Mac OS X 10.4 (which is what Apple TV is based off of I think) for HFS+ is upwards of 8 exabytes. Is there some issue with the aTV flash method that reduces this to 2TB for purposes of the AppleTV? Is there a bug in the OS on the AppleTV? Thanks

pb

The AppleTV runs a version of OSX (10.4.7). The external drive size limit was raised in later versions (10.4.11).

OK, I guess it is what it is. Its just that document seems misleading because it implies that even OSX 10.2 supports HFS+ volumes of up to 8TB. USB is different?
