I have a 4Tb hard drive that I would like to use with my Apple TV. I read somewhere that only up to 2Tb is supported, is this true? If so, why? And is there any way I can get my drive to work?
From what I recall, it was a limitation of the Apple TV software (Mac OS X 10.4) and it’s ability to handle larger RAID based drives.
There have been scattered reports of larger drives working, but it’s really hit or miss depending on the model.
